The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3D Printing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of 3D printing technologies and processes, particularly with Ultimaker, Formlabs, and Desktop Metal printers.

The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining these printers, as well as providing technical support to internal teams and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality outputs and delivering solutions in a timely and efficient manner.


  • Operate and maintain Ultimaker, Formlabs, and Desktop Metal 3D printers
  • Monitor the 3D printing process and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
  • Set up and calibrate 3D printers for different projects and applications
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand their 3D printing needs and provide technical guidance and support
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting with technical issues and inquiries from customers
  • Keep up to date with the latest 3D printing technologies and developments
  • Maintain an inventory of 3D printing materials, supplies, and spare parts
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for 3D printing processes
  • Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of 3D printing operations


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in 3D printing, with a focus on Ultimaker, Formlabs, and Desktop Metal printers
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in CAD software and 3D modeling tools
  • Familiarity with different 3D printing materials and their properties
  • Experience with maintenance and repair of 3D printers is a plus
  • Driver license and ability to travel within Benelux
